High profile academic delegates from the IM Shechenov First Moscow State Medical University paid a visit to the Russian Cultural Center in Colombo.

The delegates paid a visit to the Embassy of the Russian Federation and had a meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr. Levan Dzhagaryan. During their visit, they entered into an agreement with the Russian Cultural Center to establish a preparatory center for medical students. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Mr. Levan Dzhagaryan and Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Russian Federation.
This preparatory center, located vat the Russian Cultural Center, will provide aspiring students who intend to pursue medicine at the IM Shechenov First Moscow State Medical University with the necessary Russian language proficiency, as well as biology and chemistry lessons.
Delegates also engage in meetings with the students and parents of both current and prospective students at Moscow State Medical University. The delegates have also showcased an elaborate presentation of the university.
